Join the Davis Coop Comminity Network...Next Mtg.Sun 5/23

Hi folks...

Last month, co-opers in town got together for a potluck at the N St. Common-House and the first meeting of the Davis Cooperative Community Network. About 30 people showed up, representing 8 coops in town...mostly residential

co-ops/co-housing, and the Davis Bicycle Collective was also well-represented.

Wow! Man, talk about incredible people! This community is so awesome.

We already got two down comforters,thanks Jennifer, Alsion and Keto,( and even more offers), someone to take care of the truck this month--thanks Beth Foondos,, and Julie Cross has offered to do our laundry if no one else will. Also, my sister up North has offered to pay for a laundry service twice a month, but she doesn't have alot of money , so I'd rather not do that. New from the Queen!

1) Anyone have a good queen-size down comforter that you're not using? We have to replace all of our heavy blankets, because the heaviness causes more body pain.. Also, having several heavy blankets makes it hard for me to turn over or re-position. Sleeping safely is extremely important to me right now. Any color will do.thank you 756-8260

Hi all, I'm thinking good thoughts and sending strong, healing energy to Pop.

Dad, maybe you should try Airborne.

Taking Airborne (or Walborn, if it's from Wal-Mart) works wonders! I've been able to avoid the icky nasty flu, as my co-workers get it one after another...

It even helps you heal if you’re already sick. I haven't gotten either of the flu shots yet, although I had better get on that. I LOVE getting shots. I should have been a heroin addict.
